After what felt like they just ended one season, the NBA is picking things back up in less than a month! So it only makes sense we chat all things basketball with Chantel Smith of NBA Canada.

She helps us understand what the Canadian chapter of the NBA aims to accomplish, including some of the programs it created for the recent virtual draft. We also learn more of her history in the world of sports as she earned her stripes working for and with the likes of Ford, the NFL, Air Canada, multiple NHL teams and more!

And to build on the recent growth of diversity hires within the sports industry, we gain Chantel's perspective on being a Black woman in sports, some of the unfortunate discrimination she still sees today, but also the positive outlook she has for the future.
